Getting There

Walking
From the center of Ngozi, head southeast on Avenue du Général de Gaulle towards Avenue de l'Indépendance. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto Route Nationale 1 (RN1) and follow this road for approximately 5 kilometers. You will see signs for Butare. Once you enter Butare, keep an eye out for the Ethnographic Museum, which is located on your right at NR1. It is a short walk from the main road.
