  • Public Transport

    From Ngozi, take public transport towards Ruheha. Once in Ruheha, the viewpoint is accessible by walking. Buses in Burundi cost approximately 500 BIF. From the bus stop in Ruheha, head towards the G7FC+88 coordinates. The path to the viewpoint is a small hill, which is marked by a sign. The viewpoint offers panoramic views of Lake Rweru and the surrounding area.

  • Taxi

    From Ngozi, hire a taxi or moto-taxi (boda-boda) to Lake Rweru Viewpoint in Ruheha. A moto-taxi will likely cost less than a standard taxi. Confirm with the driver that they know the location. From Ngozi, head southeast on Avenue du 1er Novembre. After about 1 kilometer, take the left fork onto Avenue de l'Indépendance. Continue for about 2 kilometers until reaching a sign for 'Ruhororo'. Turn right and continue for another 2 kilometers. The path leading to the viewpoint will be on the left.
