Start your journey from the main city of Fogo, São Filipe. Drive towards the ferry terminal located in the town of Cova Figueira. Follow the main road (EN1-FG) for about 30 minutes until you reach Cova Figueira. At the terminal, you will need to park your car and purchase a ferry ticket to Santo Antão. The ferry ride takes approximately 1 hour and costs around 15-20 euros. Once you arrive at the port in Santo Antão, you can either rent a car or take a local taxi to explore the island.

From São Filipe, take a local taxi or a shared taxi (called 'aluguer') to Cova Figueira. The fare should be around 5 euros per person and the journey takes about 30 minutes. Upon arrival at Cova Figueira, head to the ferry terminal to purchase your ticket for the ferry to Santo Antão. The ferry costs 15-20 euros and takes around 1 hour. After disembarking in Santo Antão, you can use local taxis or buses to reach your desired destination on the island.
