To reach Cova Crater from Praia de Bote by car, start by heading south on the main road (Ribeira da Prata Road). Continue driving for about 10 km until you reach the junction with the road to Faja de Cima. Turn left onto this road. Follow the signs towards Faja de Cima, and after approximately 5 km, you'll see a sign for Cova Crater. Take a slight right onto a dirt road leading into the crater area. Parking is available close to the entrance of the crater. Be aware that some sections of the dirt road may be rough, so a vehicle with higher clearance is recommended.

If you prefer to use public transportation, look for a local minibus (known as 'aluguer') that travels from Praia de Bote to Faja de Cima. These minibuses frequently depart from central locations in Praia de Bote. The fare is typically around 50 CVE. Once you arrive in Faja de Cima, you may need to walk approximately 1 km to reach the entrance of Cova Crater. Keep an eye out for signs or ask locals for directions. Note that there may not be a direct bus service to Cova Crater, so be prepared for a bit of walking.
