    If you're driving from Praia de Bote, head north on the main road (Ribeira Grande Road) towards the town of Ribeira Grande. Continue on this road for approximately 6 km until you reach a junction. At the junction, take the left turn towards the 'Monte Verde' signage. Follow this road as it winds upwards, and be prepared for some steep inclines. The drive will take about 20-30 minutes depending on road conditions. Parking is available near the base of Monte Verde.

    To reach Monte Verde using public transportation, start by taking a local 'aluguer' (shared taxi) from Praia de Bote to Ribeira Grande. The fare is usually around 3-5 CVE.
