To reach Praia Grande via public transport, start at the main bus terminal in Ribeira Grande. Look for a 'Aluguer' (shared taxi) heading towards Ponta do Sol. The fare is typically around 150 CVE (Cape Verdean Escudo) per person. The journey takes about 30-40 minutes. Once you reach Ponta do Sol, you may need to take another Aluguer or walk for about 15 minutes to get to Praia Grande. Make sure to confirm with the driver that they will drop you near Praia Grande.
