Car
If you are driving, start from the main town of São Filipe. Head north on the main road (EN1-SF) towards the direction of the northern part of Fogo. After approximately 10 km, turn left onto a smaller road leading towards Nobai trekking. Keep following the signs for Nobai. The trek starts at the parking area designated for visitors.

If you prefer public transport, catch a local 'aluguer' (shared taxi) from São Filipe to the nearest village to Nobai. Inform the driver you want to go to Nobai trekking. The fare is usually around 200 CVE (Cape Verdean Escudos). Once you arrive in the village, you may need to walk the remaining distance to the trekking start point, which is about 1 km.
