Car
If you are driving from the center of Praia de Santa Monica, head east on Avenida 5 de Julho. Continue straight for about 10 km until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit to continue on Road 1. After approximately 5 km, you will see signs directing you towards Sal Rei. Follow these signs for another 2 km, and you should see The Monument on your left. There is usually free parking available on the roadside.

To reach The Monument using public transportation, take a local 'Aluguer' (shared taxi) from Praia de Santa Monica to Sal Rei. You can find Aluguers near the main road. The fare is typically around 100 CVE (Cape Verdean Escudo) per person. Once you arrive in Sal Rei, you can either walk or take another Aluguer to the specific area of The Monument, which is located at 53GJ+CW9. The walk from the center of Sal Rei to The Monument is about 15-20 minutes.

If you are already in Sal Rei, walk towards the main square and head northeast along Avenida 5 de Julho. Continue straight for about 1 km until you reach a fork; stay left to follow the signs towards The Monument.
