Walking
From the main square in Santa Maria, head towards the beach. Walk along Avenida 5 de Julho, passing by various shops and restaurants. Continue straight until you reach the sandy shores of Santa Maria beach. Once you arrive at the beach, turn left and follow the coastline. Keep walking for about 2 kilometers until you reach a sign for Shark Bay, located at P4Q4+HFR, Feijoal. The walk should take approximately 30 minutes.

Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Santa Maria. Start your journey from the main square and head towards Avenida 5 de Julho. Cycle straight towards Santa Maria beach and, once you reach the beach, turn left. Continue cycling along the coast for about 2 kilometers until you see a sign for Shark Bay at P4Q4+HFR, Feijoal. The ride will take around 15-20 minutes.

Public Transport (Bus)
Take a local minibus (also known as 'aluguer') from the main square in Santa Maria. Look for a minibus heading towards Feijoal. The fare is usually very affordable. Once on the bus, inform the driver you want to get off at Shark Bay or P4Q4+HFR. The bus ride will take about 15 minutes. After getting off, walk a short distance toward the beach to find Shark Bay.
