    Car

    From the city center of Mindelo, head southeast on Rua de Lisboa towards Av. Marginal. Continue on Av. Marginal, which will become Estrada do Porto. Drive for about 15 kilometers until you reach the turnoff for Pico da Antónia. Turn left onto the dirt road that leads up the mountain. The drive may take approximately 30 minutes depending on road conditions. Ensure your vehicle is suitable for rough terrain.

    Public Transportation

    Take a 'Aluguer' (shared taxi) from Mindelo to the base of Pico da Antónia. Alugueres typically leave from designated stops in the city. Inform the driver that you want to go to Pico da Antónia. The ride will take about 30-40 minutes and the fare is usually around 100 CVE (Cape Verdean Escudo). Once you arrive at the base, you may need to hike the remaining distance to the summit, which can take around 1-2 hours depending on your pace.

    If you prefer to hike, you can start from the base of the mountain after arriving by car or Aluguer.
