The peninsula is a short walk from here, and you can navigate down the rocky slope to reach the water's edge at Ponta Preta.

If you prefer to cycle, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Vila do Maio. Start your journey from the town center and head towards the beachfront road. Follow the road that runs parallel to the coast, keeping the ocean on your left. After about 5 kilometers, you will see signs pointing towards Ponta Preta. There will be a small dirt road leading towards the peninsula. Carefully navigate this road until you reach the rocky areas of Ponta Preta, where you can park your bicycle and explore the shoreline.
