From downtown Oakland, walk to the 12th St. Oakland City Center BART station. Take the BART towards the Daly City station. At the Embarcadero station, transfer to the Muni bus. Take the Muni bus 30 or 43 towards the Presidio. Get off at the stop on Lincoln Blvd & Presidio Blvd. Walk towards the Golden Gate Bridge and follow the signs leading you to the Strauss Statue, which is located within the Presidio park area.
