From downtown Berkeley, walk to the nearest bus stop on Shattuck Avenue. Take the AC Transit Line 72 bus towards the Richmond BART station. Ride for about 30 minutes until you reach the stop at 'Bolinas and Highway 1'. From there, it's approximately a 15-minute walk to Bolinas Beach. Head south on Bolinas Road, then turn left onto Highway 1. Continue walking until you see signs for Bolinas Beach.

Rent a bicycle from one of the bike rental shops in Berkeley. Start your journey by cycling west on University Avenue until you reach the Bay Trail. Follow the Bay Trail to Point Reyes, and then continue on Highway 1. Keep an eye out for signs leading to Bolinas Beach. The ride will take approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes, depending on your speed.

If you prefer to walk, start at the Berkeley Pier. Head west along the waterfront and follow the path that leads to Highway 1. This will take you through some beautiful coastal scenery. The walk to Bolinas Beach is quite long and may take around 2 hours, so be prepared with water and snacks. Once you reach Highway 1, continue until you see signs for Bolinas Beach.
