While the direct route 46 is temporarily suspended, the 46L line operates on weekdays and stops near the zoo's entrance at Mountain Blvd. & Golf Links Rd. From there, it's a half-mile walk to the main gate. AC Transit fares typically cost around $2.50 for a single ride.
