Ride Share
From the Oakland Coliseum BART station, a taxi or ride-share service (Uber/Lyft) offers a direct route to the Oakland Zoo. The ride is approximately 3.8 miles and typically takes 8 minutes, costing between $18 and $22. Be prepared for potential surge pricing during peak hours.
Driving
If driving, take Interstate 580 East and exit at Golf Links Road/98th Avenue. Turn onto Golf Links Road and follow it to the Oakland Zoo. Parking at the zoo costs $13 if purchased online in advance, or $16 upon arrival. Parking is readily available in the upper lot, but it can fill up quickly on busy weekends.
