Getting There

Bus
From downtown Berkeley, head to the nearest bus stop at Shattuck Ave & University Ave. Take the AC Transit bus 7 towards the 'San Francisco' direction. Stay on the bus for about 25-30 minutes. Get off at the 'California & 6th Ave' stop. From there, walk west on California St. until you reach 6th Ave. Continue on 6th Ave. which turns into Point Lobos Ave. The Sutro Baths will be on your left after about a 15-minute walk.

Bicycle
If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike from one of the local bike-sharing services in Berkeley. Start from the downtown area and head west on University Ave. Continue straight as it becomes the 'Golden Gate Bridge' bike path. Follow the path through the Presidio and then take a right onto Lincoln Blvd. Continue until you see signs for the Sutro Baths. The bike ride will take approximately 40-50 minutes.

Walking
For an adventurous walk, start at the Berkeley campus. Head south on Telegraph Ave. and then turn left onto Bancroft Way. Walk until you reach the intersection with College Ave. and turn right. Follow College Ave. until it becomes Claremont Ave. Continue walking straight, which will eventually lead you to the entrance of the Presidio. Once inside the Presidio, follow the signs toward the Golden Gate Bridge, and continue until you reach Lincoln Blvd. From Lincoln Blvd, follow the road until you see Sutro Baths. This walk will take about 1.5 to 2 hours.
