Bus
From downtown Berkeley, walk to the nearest bus stop on Shattuck Avenue. Take the AC Transit bus line 18 towards 'Eastmont Transit Center'. Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes. Get off at the '14th St & Broadway' stop in Oakland. From there, walk north on Broadway for about 5 minutes until you reach 1 Frank H. Ogawa Plaza, where Oakland City Hall is located.
BART
Walk to the Downtown Berkeley BART station located at 2160 Shattuck Ave. Take the BART train towards 'Richmond'. After three stops, get off at the '12th St. Oakland City Center' station. Exit the station and walk east towards Broadway, then head north for about 5 minutes to reach 1 Frank H. Ogawa Plaza.
Bicycle
If you have a bicycle, you can ride from Berkeley to Oakland via the bike lanes. Start on University Ave and head west until you reach the pedestrian bridge over the freeway. Cross the bridge and continue on 7th St. After crossing the overpass, turn left onto Broadway and ride north for about 2 miles. You will arrive at 1 Frank H. Ogawa Plaza, where Oakland City Hall is located.
