Founders Rock is located in the vicinity of the Lawrence Hall of Science, approximately a 15-minute walk from Sather Gate. Keep an eye on the signs leading to the Hall of Science, as Founders Rock is a short distance away.

    From the UC Berkeley campus, you can take the AC Transit bus number 65 from the nearest bus stop (located on Bancroft Way). Make sure to check the schedule, as buses may not run frequently. Get off at the stop closest to the Lawrence Hall of Science. The walk from the bus stop to Founders Rock will take about 5-10 minutes. Note that the bus fare is approximately $2.50, so have some cash or a Clipper Card ready.
