From Ocean Avenue, walk two blocks inland on San Carlos Street. The Sunset Center will be on your left, occupying two city blocks from Eighth to Tenth Avenue. Walking is a convenient way to reach the center from many points in downtown Carmel-by-the-Sea. No cost involved.

Monterey-Salinas Transit (MST) provides bus service to Carmel-by-the-Sea. From the nearest MST bus stop, walk towards San Carlos Street and then to the Sunset Center. A single ride fare on MST is typically around $2-$3. Check MST schedules for the most up-to-date route information and fares.

From Highway 1, take the Ocean Avenue exit and drive into Carmel-by-the-Sea. Turn left onto San Carlos Avenue and drive two blocks. The Sunset Center will be on your right, occupying two city blocks from Eighth to Tenth Avenue. Free parking is available in the North Lot on 8th Avenue between Mission and San Carlos Streets. Street parking is also available, but be mindful of time limits. Expect to pay around $15-$20 for parking at nearby lots if the free options are full.
