If you're in the heart of Big Sur, such as near the Henry Miller Memorial Library, head south on CA-1 (Pacific Coast Highway). Walk along the right side of the highway, taking care to stay safe from traffic. Continue walking for about 1.5 miles until you reach the entrance to Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park, which will be on your left. Watch for the park entrance sign.
