Bus
From downtown Campbell, walk to the nearest bus stop at the intersection of Campbell Avenue and Winchester Boulevard. Take the Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority (VTA) Bus Line 26 towards Santa Cruz. Stay on the bus for approximately 45 minutes until you reach the Santa Cruz Metro Center. From there, transfer to Bus Line 71 towards Watsonville. Ride for about 15 minutes and get off at the stop for Municipal Wharf. Cowell Beach is a short walk from the bus stop.
Bicycle
If you're feeling adventurous, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Campbell. Head towards the Los Gatos Creek Trail which will lead you to the scenic route towards Santa Cruz. Follow the trail until it connects with the streets leading into Santa Cruz. Once you reach the city, navigate towards the coast and follow signs to the Municipal Wharf. Cowell Beach is located just past the Wharf.
Walking
If you're staying in a nearby hotel, ask the front desk for directions to the nearest bus stop or bike rental. Alternatively, you can enjoy a leisurely walk through Campbell. Head south on San Tomas Expressway until you reach the Los Gatos Creek Trail. Continue along the trail until you reach downtown Santa Cruz. Once in Santa Cruz, walk towards the ocean and follow the signs to the Municipal Wharf. Cowell Beach is located right at the end of the Wharf.
