From Castro Valley BART Station, board a train heading towards San Francisco/Daly City. You will need to transfer at the 12th Street/Oakland City Center station to the 'Richmond' train. Ride until you reach the Embarcadero station. Upon exiting the BART station, follow the signs to the Ferry Building, which is a short walk east along the waterfront.
