Public Transit - BART
From Castro Valley BART Station, board a train heading towards San Francisco/Daly City. You will need to transfer at the 12th Street/Oakland City Center station to the 'Richmond' train. Ride until you reach the Embarcadero station. Upon exiting the BART station, follow the signs to the Ferry Building, which is a short walk east along the waterfront.
Public Transit - Bus
Take the AC Transit Bus Line 20 from Castro Valley. Board at the Castro Valley Transit Center and head towards San Francisco. Stay on the bus until you reach the 'Ferry Building' stop. The Ferry Building will be directly in front of you when you disembark.
Walking from BART
If you are coming from the Hayward BART Station, exit the station and head east on B Street towards Mission Boulevard. Turn left onto Mission Boulevard and walk north until you reach the intersection with A Street. Turn right onto A Street, which will lead you to the BART station. From there, board a train towards San Francisco and follow the public transit directions to the Ferry Building.
