Public Transit
From Castro Valley BART station, take the BART train towards San Francisco/Daly City. Get off at the Embarcadero station. Once there, transfer to the Muni 30 bus towards Bayview-Hunters Point. Alight at the stop at North Point St & Montgomery St. From there, walk towards the Golden Gate Bridge for about 15 minutes, and you will reach the Presidio where the Strauss Statue is located.
Walking
If you are already in the Castro Valley area, start at the Castro Valley Park. Head north on Castro Valley Blvd towards Lake Chabot Rd, then turn left on Lake Chabot Rd and continue walking straight until you reach the BART station. From there, follow the Public Transit directions to reach the Strauss Statue.
Bicycle
If you are renting a bicycle, start from Castro Valley Park. Head north on Castro Valley Blvd towards Lake Chabot Rd. Continue straight until you reach the BART station. From there, follow the same route as the Public Transit option. Once you reach the Presidio, you can park your bike and walk to the Strauss Statue.
