BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit)
From Castro Valley, make your way to the Castro Valley BART station, located at 3301 Norbridge Dr. Take the train heading towards San Francisco/Daly City. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the Embarcadero station in San Francisco. From there, transfer to the Muni bus or light rail. If you prefer a bus, you can take the 30-Stockton bus towards Marina District and get off at the intersection of Union Street and Fillmore Street. Union Street will be right in front of you.
Public Bus
You can take the AC Transit Bus Line 30 from Castro Valley. Board the bus at the nearest bus stop to your location heading towards the Coliseum BART station. After about 30 minutes, transfer to the 1-California bus at the Coliseum BART station. Ride the 1-California bus until you reach the stop at Union Street and Fillmore Street. Union Street will be right there for you to explore.
Walking and Public Transit
If you prefer walking, start by heading to the Castro Valley BART station. Once you arrive, take the BART train towards San Francisco/Daly City. Get off at the Embarcadero station and then walk to the Pier 1 area. From Pier 1, you can catch the Muni 30-Stockton bus that will take you directly to the intersection of Union Street and Fillmore Street, where you can enjoy the sights of Union Street.
