Follow the signs for Hearst Castle, which is located at 750 Hearst Castle Rd. There is a parking fee of $10 per vehicle. Upon arrival, park in the designated lot and proceed to the visitor center for your tour tickets.
Public Transportation
To reach Hearst Castle via public transportation, take the Amtrak train to San Luis Obispo. From the Amtrak station, transfer to the SLO Transit bus (Route 10 or Route 14) heading to Cambria. Once in Cambria, you can take the Hearst Castle Shuttle, which operates between Cambria and Hearst Castle. The shuttle costs $15 round-trip, and be sure to check the schedule in advance as it may vary seasonally.
Taxi or Rideshare
If you prefer a more direct route from nearby towns such as Cambria or San Luis Obispo, consider using a taxi or rideshare service (like Uber or Lyft).
