Start at the Chula Vista Transit Center, located at 201 Bay Blvd, Chula Vista, CA 91910. Take the Blue Line Trolley towards San Ysidro. Ride the trolley for approximately 10 stops, which should take about 25 minutes. Get off at the 'America Plaza' station in downtown San Diego. From there, transfer to the 84 bus (which stops at the same station) towards 'Point Loma'. Get off the bus at the 'Shelter Island Dr & San Diego Bay' stop. From this stop, walk west along Shelter Island Drive for about 0.5 miles, and you will arrive at the 52 Boats Memorial located at San Diego, CA 92106.

If you're renting a bike, start at the Chula Vista Bayfront Park. Head north on Bay Blvd towards the San Diego Bay. Continue along the waterfront bike path, which will eventually lead you north towards San Diego. Follow the path until you reach the 'Point Loma' area. From there, you can navigate towards Shelter Island Drive, where the 52 Boats Memorial is located. The total distance is approximately 10 miles and should take around 45-60 minutes depending on your pace.

If you prefer to walk, you can start at the Chula Vista Marina. Head north on Marina Parkway towards Bay Blvd. Turn right onto Bay Blvd and continue walking north for approximately 5 miles until you reach the San Diego Bay. Once you reach the bay, continue heading west along the water until you approach Shelter Island. The 52 Boats Memorial is located at the end of Shelter Island Drive. This walk will take approximately 2-2.5 hours.
