Public Bus
From the Chula Vista Transit Center, take the MTS bus route 701 towards UCSD. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the stop 'La Jolla Village Drive & Expedition Way'. From there, it's a short walk of about 5 minutes to the Birch Aquarium. Head northeast on Expedition Way until you reach the aquarium entrance.

Biking
If you prefer biking, rent a bike from one of the local bike rental shops in Chula Vista. Start by heading northwest on 3rd Avenue towards E Street. Continue until you reach the Bayshore Bikeway, which runs along the waterfront. Follow the Bikeway north towards La Jolla. It will take approximately 1 hour to reach Birch Aquarium, located at 2300 Expedition Way. Once you arrive in La Jolla, follow signs to the aquarium.

Walking
If you're feeling adventurous and are staying nearby, you can walk to Birch Aquarium. Start at the Chula Vista Bayfront Park and walk north along the waterfront. This scenic route will take you through the park and along the coast, eventually leading you to La Jolla. The walk is approximately 8 miles and would take around 3-4 hours. Once in La Jolla, follow Expedition Way to reach the aquarium.
