Getting There

• Public Transit - Bus

  If you are in Chula Vista, you can take the San Diego Metropolitan Transit System (MTS) bus route 901. First, make your way to the nearest bus stop for the 901 route. Upon boarding, ensure you are heading towards the 'Otay Mesa' direction. After approximately 30 minutes of travel, you will arrive at the 'H Street' Transit Center. Here, transfer to the 'Silver Line' (the Coronado Ferry) or the '901' route towards 'Bayfront/Eastlake'. Follow the bus route until you reach the 'Coronado' stop. From there, it is a short walk to Coronado Beach, which is just a few blocks away.

• Bicycle

  For those who prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the local bike rental shops in Chula Vista. Head towards the Bayshore Bikeway, a scenic route that will take you directly towards Coronado. Follow the path along the San Diego Bay, and continue until you reach the Coronado Bridge. You can bike across the bridge, and once you arrive in Coronado, follow the signs to Coronado Beach, which is located a short distance from the bridge exit.

• Walking

  If you are up for a long walk, you can start at the Chula Vista Center. Head southwest towards 3rd Avenue and take a left. Continue walking until you reach 'H Street', then take a right. Walk until you see the bus terminal, where you can catch a bus towards Coronado. Alternatively, you can walk to the Bayshore Bikeway and follow the path towards Coronado, enjoying the scenic views along the way. This is a longer route, approximately 6 miles, so wear comfortable shoes and bring water.
