  • Public Transit - Bus

    From anywhere in Chula Vista, head to the nearest bus stop and take the San Diego Metropolitan Transit System (MTS) bus route 701 towards San Diego. Make sure to check the schedule for the nearest bus times. After approximately 30 minutes, disembark at the 'Broadway & 4th' stop in downtown San Diego. From there, walk east on Broadway for about 5 minutes until you reach 4th Avenue. Turn right onto 4th Avenue and walk south for 2 blocks until you reach Island Avenue. Turn left onto Island Avenue, and the Gaslamp Museum at the Davis-Horton House Museum will be located at 410 Island Ave on your right.

  • Public Transit - Trolley

    If you are near the Chula Vista Transit Center, take the Blue Line trolley towards San Diego. Ride the trolley for approximately 20 minutes and get off at the 'Civic Center' station. From the Civic Center, walk east on C Street towards 4th Avenue, which is about a 10-minute walk. Once you reach 4th Avenue, turn right and continue south for 3 blocks. When you get to Island Avenue, turn left, and the Gaslamp Museum at the Davis-Horton House Museum will be at 410 Island Ave.

    If you are already in downtown Chula Vista, you can walk to the Gaslamp Museum. Start at the Chula Vista Civic Center Library, located at 365 F Street. Walk south on F Street until you reach 4th Avenue. Turn left on 4th Avenue and continue walking for about 1 mile, crossing over the San Diego Bay. Once you reach Island Avenue, turn right, and the museum will be on your right at 410 Island Ave.
