Bus
From the center of Chula Vista, head to the nearest bus stop located at 3rd Avenue and F Street. Take the MTS Bus Route 701 heading towards the San Diego State University. Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes until you reach the stop at UC San Diego. From there, transfer to Bus Route 30 towards La Jolla and get off at the stop for Gilman Drive. The Geisel Library will be a short 5-minute walk from the bus stop; head northeast on Gilman Drive, and you will see the library on your left.
Bike
If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike from one of the bike-sharing stations in Chula Vista. Start at the Chula Vista Bayfront Park and head north on the Coastal Rail Trail. Follow the trail for approximately 8 miles until you reach the UC San Diego campus. Once you get to the campus, navigate to Gilman Drive and continue northeast until you see the Geisel Library on your left.
Walking
If you are already near the Chula Vista Public Library on 365 F Street, you can walk to the Geisel Library. Start by heading west on F Street until you reach 4th Avenue. Turn left and continue south until you reach E Street. Turn right and walk towards the bus terminal. From there, you can catch the MTS Bus Route 201 towards UCSD. Get off at the Gilman Drive stop and walk northeast for about 5 minutes to reach Geisel Library.
