    From downtown Chula Vista, walk to the nearest bus stop on H Street near 4th Avenue. Take the MTS Bus Route 707 towards San Diego. Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes until you reach the 'Civic Center' stop in San Diego. From there, transfer to Bus Route 28 towards 'Mission Valley.' Ride for 10 minutes and get off at 'Pan American Plaza.' The San Diego Air & Space Museum will be a short walk from the bus stop.

    If you prefer biking, rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Chula Vista. Start your ride heading north on 4th Avenue, then take a left onto H Street. Continue on H Street until you reach the Bayshore Bikeway. Follow the bikeway along the waterfront, which will take you towards San Diego. Upon reaching the downtown area, look for the signs directing you towards Balboa Park. The San Diego Air & Space Museum is located within Balboa Park, and you will find it easily by following the park paths.

From there, you can catch the MTS bus (Route 707) or continue walking north on 4th Avenue until you reach the San Diego Trolley station at 'Civic Center.' Take the trolley to the 'City College' station, then transfer to the 'Blue Line' towards 'Santee.' Get off at 'Washington Street' and walk the remaining distance to Balboa Park to find the museum.
