Bus
From downtown Chula Vista, walk to the Chula Vista Transit Center. Board the Blue Line Trolley towards San Ysidro and get off at the H Street Station. From there, transfer to Bus 929 towards La Jolla. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the La Jolla Farms Road stop. From the bus stop, walk about 0.5 miles northwest on La Jolla Farms Road, and you will reach the Scripps Coastal Reserve at 9400 La Jolla Farms Rd.

Bicycle
If you are comfortable biking, rent a bicycle from one of the local bike rental shops in Chula Vista. Start by heading northwest on E Street towards 5th Avenue, then turn right onto 5th Avenue which leads you to the San Diego Bay shore. Keep following the waterfront path until you reach the San Diego-La Jolla Underwater Park. Continue onto La Jolla Shores Drive and then take a left onto La Jolla Farms Road. The Scripps Coastal Reserve will be on your left.

Walking
If you prefer walking, start from the Chula Vista Marina. Walk north along the marina path towards the Silver Strand State Beach. Continue on the path that leads you along the beach, which eventually connects to the coastal road leading up to La Jolla. Follow the signs for La Jolla, and when you reach La Jolla Farms Road, turn right. The Scripps Coastal Reserve is located at 9400 La Jolla Farms Rd, about a 20-minute walk from the main road.
