Getting There

Bus
From downtown Chula Vista, walk to the nearest bus stop at 'E St & 3rd Ave'. Take the MTS bus route 901 toward 'San Ysidro Transit Center'. Ride the bus for about 20 minutes until you reach 'University City - Genesee Ave & Nobel Dr' stop. Transfer to bus route 30 toward 'La Jolla - UCSD'. Stay on the bus for approximately 25 minutes until you arrive at 'Torrey Pines State Beach' stop. From the bus stop, walk about 5 minutes north along N Torrey Pines Rd until you reach the beach entrance.

Bicycle
If you prefer to bike, start at the Chula Vista Bayfront Park. Head north on the bike path along the bay towards the Sweetwater River. Follow the river path until you reach 'National City'. Cross over to 'N 4th Ave' and continue heading north until you reach the intersection with 'E St'. Turn left onto 'E St' and follow it until you reach 'I-5 North'. Bike along the designated bike lanes through the 'I-5' corridor. After approximately 10 miles, take the exit for 'La Jolla' and continue biking north on N Torrey Pines Rd to reach Torrey Pines State Beach.

Walking
For an adventurous walk, start from the Chula Vista Center. Head north on Broadway toward 'E St'. Turn left on 'E St' and walk until you reach 'I-5'. Cross the pedestrian bridge at 'I-5' and continue walking north along 'Genesee Ave'. Follow the signs along the pathway as it turns into 'N Torrey Pines Rd'. After about 7 miles of walking, you will arrive at Torrey Pines State Beach. This route is scenic but requires a good level of fitness.
