Getting There

  • Walking

    From the La Jolla Cove area, walk southwest on Coast Blvd towards Girard Ave. Continue on Coast Blvd for about 0.5 miles until you reach Neptune Pl. Turn left onto Neptune Pl and walk for about 0.3 miles. Windansea Park will be on your right at 6600 Neptune Pl. There are no costs associated with walking.

  • Public Transport

    From La Jolla Village Square, take Bus 30 heading south. Get off at the stop at La Jolla Shores. From there, walk along the coast, heading southwest on Avenida de la Playa. Turn left onto Pacific Coast Hwy, and then turn right onto Neptune Pl. Walk until you reach Windansea Park at 6600 Neptune Pl. A one-way fare on San Diego public transportation is typically $2.50.

  • Driving

    To get to Windansea Beach, make your way to La Jolla Boulevard. Turn west on multiple streets between Palomar Avenue and Westbourne Street until you reach Neptune Place, which runs parallel to the beach. The Surf Shack and parking lot are at the end of Bonair Street. Parking at Windansea Beach is limited to a small lot with only 16 spaces. Street parking is available on Neptune Place, but it may take a while to find a spot during peak summer months. Street parking is free.
