If you're driving from within the Colorado Desert, head west on CA-78 W or CA-86 N to connect with I-10 W. Continue on I-10 W until you reach exit 199 for CA-101 N toward Los Angeles. Follow CA-101 N for approximately 150 miles until you reach exit 260 for CA-1 N toward San Luis Obispo. Continue on CA-1 N for about 30 miles until you see signs for Hearst Castle, then turn onto Hearst Castle Rd. Follow this road to the entrance of Hearst Castle at 750 Hearst Castle Rd, San Simeon, CA 93452. Note that parking fees may apply, typically around $10.
