If you are driving from any location in the Colorado Desert region, you can follow these directions to Red Rock Canyon State Park. Start by heading north on CA-14 N from your location. Continue on CA-14 N for approximately 50 miles. Take the exit for CA-58 W toward Bakersfield. After about 5 miles, take the exit for Red Rock Canyon. Turn left onto Abbott Dr, and follow it until you reach the park entrance at 37749 Abbott Dr, Cantil, CA 93519. Note that there is a $6 entry fee per vehicle.

If you are using public transportation, the nearest major city is Bakersfield. From Bakersfield, take a Greyhound bus to Mojave. Once in Mojave, you will need to use a taxi or rideshare service to cover the remaining distance to Red Rock Canyon State Park, which is about 26 miles southwest.
