Hiking
If you are in the Giant Forest area of Sequoia National Park, start at the Giant Forest Museum. From there, follow the signs leading to the General Sherman Tree, which is about a 0.5-mile walk. Once you reach the General Sherman Tree, you will find a well-marked trail leading to the Trail of 100 Giants. Follow this trail for approximately 3 miles, which will lead you directly to the Trail of 100 Giants Trailhead. Be sure to carry water and wear sturdy hiking shoes, as the trail can be steep and rocky.

Public Transportation
If you are near the park entrance, you can take the Sequoia Shuttle (available seasonally). Board the shuttle heading towards the Giant Forest area. Get off at the Giant Forest Museum stop. From there, follow the directions provided for hiking to the Trail of 100 Giants Trailhead. Check the shuttle schedule in advance for operation times and stops.

If you have access to a bike, you can bike from the Giant Forest area. Start at the Giant Forest Museum and follow the paved road leading towards the General Sherman Tree.
