Start at the Coronado Ferry Landing located at 1201 1st St, Coronado, CA 92118. Purchase a ticket from the ferry terminal. Board the ferry heading to San Diego. The ferry ride takes about 15 minutes. Once you arrive at the San Diego Convention Center Dock, exit the ferry and head towards the waterfront.

From the Coronado Ferry Landing, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located at 1st St & Orange Ave. Catch the MTS Bus Route 901 towards Mexico from this stop. The bus will take you directly to the San Ysidro Transit Center, where you can transfer to a Tijuana-bound bus or walk across the border.

If you prefer to walk after taking the ferry, head south along the waterfront boardwalk until you reach the San Diego Convention Center. From there, walk to the San Ysidro border crossing. The walk is approximately 5 miles and will take around 1.5 to 2 hours. Make sure to bring your passport for crossing into Tijuana.
