  • Walking

    From the center of Coronado, head east on Orange Avenue toward the Coronado Ferry Landing. Walk along Orange Avenue until you reach the ferry terminal. Take the ferry to San Diego (approximately a 15-minute ride). Once you arrive at the San Diego terminal, exit and walk south on N Harbor Drive. At the intersection, turn left onto W Grape St and continue until you reach 1st Ave. Turn right onto 1st Ave and continue walking until you reach the intersection with W Ash St. Turn left onto Ash St, then walk straight until you reach the intersection with Coast Blvd. Turn right on Coast Blvd and continue walking for about 0.5 miles until you reach La Jolla Tide Pools at 303 Coast Blvd, La Jolla, CA 92037.

  • Public Transport (Bus)

    Start at the Coronado Ferry Landing and take the bus route 901 towards Downtown San Diego. Get off at the 'Broadway & 1st' stop. From there, transfer to bus route 30 towards La Jolla. Ride the bus until you reach the 'La Jolla Village Dr & Coast Blvd' stop. Once you get off, walk south on Coast Blvd for about 10 minutes until you arrive at La Jolla Tide Pools located at 303 Coast Blvd, La Jolla, CA 92037.

    If you have a bike, start at Coronado's main beach area. Head north along Ocean Blvd until you reach the Coronado Bridge. Bike across the bridge, following the bike lane to San Diego. Once you cross the bridge, continue straight and follow the signs to Balboa Park. From Balboa Park, head west towards the coast, following the signs to La Jolla. This is a longer route and will take approximately 1.5 hours. Once you reach La Jolla, head towards Coast Blvd, and La Jolla Tide Pools will be located at 303 Coast Blvd, La Jolla, CA 92037.
