Getting There

Walking
From the center of Coronado, head towards the Coronado Ferry Landing. Walk along the waterfront promenade until you reach the ferry terminal. Take the ferry to downtown San Diego (the ferry departs regularly, check the schedule). Once you arrive at the San Diego ferry terminal, exit and head west on Broadway until you reach Pacific Highway. Turn left on Pacific Highway and continue walking until you reach the intersection with N Harbor Dr. Turn right onto N Harbor Dr. and walk towards the San Diego Maritime Museum. Continue along the waterfront, and then turn left onto W Harbor Dr. Follow W Harbor Dr. until you reach the intersection with Shelter Island Dr. Keep walking straight, and you will see the signs directing you towards Point Loma. Continue walking for about 1.5 miles until you reach the Ocean Beach Pier at 1850 Ocean Front St.

Public Transport
From Coronado, walk to the Coronado Ferry Landing and take the ferry to downtown San Diego. Once you arrive, walk to the nearest bus stop and board the MTS bus route 35 towards Ocean Beach. Ride the bus until you reach the stop at Newport Ave & Abbott St. From there, it’s a short walk to the Ocean Beach Pier. Head west on Newport Ave and follow it straight to the beach where you will find the pier located at 1850 Ocean Front St.
