Getting There

Bicycle
From the center of Coronado, head north on Orange Avenue towards the Ferry Landing Marketplace. Continue straight onto the Coronado Bridge bike path. Once you cross the bridge, follow the path down to the coastal highway (CA-101). Turn left onto CA-101 and follow it north for approximately 5 miles. Look for signs directing you to Encinitas and Swami's Beach. There are bike racks available near the beach.

Public Bus
From Coronado, walk to the bus stop at Orange Avenue and 10th Street. Take the Metropolitan Transit System (MTS) bus route 901 towards San Diego. Transfer at the Santa Fe Depot in downtown San Diego to the North County Transit District (NCTD) Coaster line. Board the Coaster heading north and get off at the Encinitas station. From there, it's a short 1-mile walk west to Swami's Beach, following the signs towards the coast.

Start at the Coronado Ferry Landing. Walk to the ferry terminal and take the ferry to downtown San Diego. Once you arrive in San Diego, head to the Santa Fe Depot. From there, take the North County Transit District (NCTD) Coaster train heading to Encinitas. After arriving at Encinitas, walk approximately 1 mile west towards the coastline to reach Swami's Beach.
