Walking
From the center of Coronado, head towards Orange Avenue. Walk north on Orange Avenue until you reach 1st Street. Turn right on 1st Street, which will lead you to the ferry landing. Take the ferry to downtown San Diego. Once you arrive at the San Diego ferry terminal, exit and head towards the San Diego Convention Center. From there, catch the bus (Route 30) towards La Jolla. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the Torrey Pines Gliderport stop. The gliderport is a short walk from the bus stop, located at 2800 Torrey Pines Scenic Dr.
Biking
If you have access to a bike, start from the Coronado Ferry Landing and ride along the Silver Strand bike path towards Imperial Beach. Continue until you reach the intersection with CA-75. Follow CA-75 until you reach the bridge leading to San Diego. Once you cross the bridge, turn left onto Harbor Drive and continue straight until you reach the bus stop for Route 30 towards La Jolla. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the Torrey Pines Gliderport stop. The gliderport is a short walk from the bus stop, located at 2800 Torrey Pines Scenic Dr.
Public Transit
Start at the Coronado Community Center. Walk to the nearest bus stop and take the #904 bus towards San Diego. Get off at the San Diego City College stop. From there, transfer to the #30 bus going towards La Jolla. Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes and disembark at the Torrey Pines Gliderport stop. The gliderport is located at 2800 Torrey Pines Scenic Dr, just a short walk from the bus stop.
