From Costa Mesa, head to the nearest bus stop on Newport Blvd. Take the OCTA bus route 57 towards Long Beach. Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes until you reach the Long Beach Transit Gallery. Once you arrive, transfer to the Long Beach Transit bus route 1 towards Alamitos Beach. Ride this bus for about 15 minutes and get off at the stop for Ocean Blvd & 23rd St. From there, it's a short walk down Ocean Blvd to reach the Long Beach Museum of Art at 2300 E Ocean Blvd.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the local bike shops in Costa Mesa. Start your ride by heading southwest on Newport Blvd towards the Santa Ana River Trail. Follow the trail until you reach the beach, then continue along the coastal bike path. Keep heading towards Long Beach. Upon entering Long Beach, merge onto Ocean Blvd and continue until you reach the Long Beach Museum of Art at 2300 E Ocean Blvd. The bike ride will take approximately 1 hour depending on your pace.

If you're feeling adventurous and want to walk, start at the South Coast Plaza area, head southwest on Bristol St towards the beach. Continue walking until you reach Pacific Coast Highway (PCH). Cross PCH and follow the signs towards Long Beach. This walk will take you along the scenic coastline and may take about 2.5 to 3 hours. Once you reach Long Beach, turn onto Ocean Blvd and walk until you find the Long Beach Museum of Art at 2300 E Ocean Blvd.
