To reach Mesquite Flat Sand Dunes by car, start from Furnace Creek Visitor Center, which is centrally located in Death Valley National Park. Head north on CA-190 for approximately 14 miles. Look for signs directing you to Stovepipe Wells, which will lead you to the sand dunes. After about 4 miles, turn left onto Mesquite Flat Sand Dunes Road. The dunes will be on your right after a short drive. There is no entrance fee specifically for the dunes, but a National Park entrance fee applies, which is $30 per vehicle for a 7-day pass.
