Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving from Furnace Creek, head north on CA-190 for approximately 25 miles. Look for signs for Stovepipe Wells and turn left onto Cottonwood Canyon Road. Follow this road for about 5 miles until you reach the Stovepipe Wells Campground entrance. The campground is located on the right side of the road.

  • Car

    From Badwater Basin, the lowest point in North America, head north on Badwater Road. After about 10 miles, turn left onto CA-190. Continue on CA-190 for approximately 15 miles, then turn left onto Cottonwood Canyon Road. Follow this road for about 5 miles to reach Stovepipe Wells Campground on your right.

    If you are coming from Dante's View, take the road back to CA-190 and turn left. Continue on CA-190 for about 22 miles, then turn left onto Cottonwood Canyon Road. Drive for approximately 5 miles until you arrive at Stovepipe Wells Campground on the right.
