Getting There

    If you are driving from Furnace Creek, head north on CA-190 for approximately 27 miles. Turn left onto Racetrack Valley Road, which is a gravel road. Continue on Racetrack Valley Road for about 27 miles. The Grandstand will be located on the far side of Racetrack Playa. Please note that this road can be rough and may require a high-clearance vehicle. Ensure your vehicle is prepared for unpaved roads.

    Public transportation options are limited in Death Valley National Park. The nearest town with rental car services is Furnace Creek. If you are traveling by bus, you can take a Greyhound or other buses to Las Vegas, then use a shuttle service or taxi to reach Furnace Creek.
