From anywhere in East Bay, take I-580 W towards San Francisco. Merge onto I-80 W and continue for about 7 miles. Take exit 2C for US-101 N towards San Francisco. Continue on US-101 N for about 5 miles, then take exit 434B for I-280 N. Follow I-280 N for another 3 miles, then take exit 43B for CA-1 N. Continue on CA-1 N (also known as 19th Ave) for about 2 miles. Turn right onto Geary Blvd and follow it for about 1 mile. Turn left onto Castro St. Continue on Castro St until you reach 2442 Castro St, where you will find Billy Goat Hill. There is limited street parking available; be sure to check for any parking signs to avoid fines.

If you are using public transportation, start by taking BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) from any East Bay station towards San Francisco. Get off at the 24th St Mission station. From there, transfer to the Muni bus #48 (you may need to purchase a Muni ticket, which costs $3 for a single ride). Board the bus and take it towards the 'Mission & 23rd St' stop. Once you get off, walk approximately 0.5 miles northwest on 23rd St, then turn right onto Castro St. Continue walking on Castro St until you reach 2442 Castro St, the location of Billy Goat Hill.
