Car

From downtown Oakland, take I-880 N towards San Francisco. Merge onto I-80 W, following signs for the Bay Bridge. Pay the toll and cross the bridge. Once in San Francisco, continue on I-80 W and take exit 2B for the Embarcadero. Continue straight on the Embarcadero, and you will see PIER 39 on your right. There is parking available nearby.
Public Transportation

From the Oakland City Center, take the BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) train towards San Francisco/Daly City. Get off at the Embarcadero station. Once you exit the station, head towards the waterfront. Walk along the Embarcadero for about 10 minutes, and PIER 39 will be on your left side.
Car

If you are coming from Berkeley, take University Ave towards I-80. Merge onto I-80 S and follow the signs for the Bay Bridge. After crossing the bridge, continue on I-80 W and take exit 2B for the Embarcadero. Stay on the Embarcadero, and PIER 39 will be on your right. There are parking facilities available in the area.
Public Transportation

From Berkeley, take the AC Transit bus (Line 72) towards San Francisco. Get off at the 'Ferry Building' stop. From the Ferry Building, walk north along the Embarcadero for about 15 minutes until you reach PIER 39.
