    From downtown Hayward BART Station, take the BART train towards San Francisco/Daly City. Ride for about 30 minutes and get off at the Embarcadero Station. From Embarcadero, transfer to the Muni bus or light rail. Take the Muni Metro N-Judah line towards Ocean Beach. After approximately 40 minutes, disembark at the Judah St & 48th Ave stop. From there, it’s a short walk to Baker Beach, which is about 10 minutes away.

    Start at the Hayward Transit Center and take the AC Transit Bus Line 63 towards Fremont. After about 20 minutes, get off at the Coliseum BART Station. Board the BART train towards San Francisco/Daly City. Ride for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the Embarcadero Station. Transfer to the Muni bus or light rail and take the N-Judah line towards Ocean Beach. Get off at Judah St & 48th Ave and walk for about 10 minutes to reach Baker Beach.

  • Bike Rental

    If you enjoy biking, you can rent a bike from one of the local bike rental shops in Hayward. Start your ride from downtown Hayward towards the San Francisco Bay Trail. Follow the trail north along the bay, then head to the Golden Gate Bridge area. Once you reach the bridge, follow the signage for Baker Beach.
