Take the AC Transit Bus Line 60 from Hayward to the San Leandro BART station. From San Leandro, board a BART train towards San Francisco and get off at the Embarcadero station. After you exit, walk to the Ferry Building. From there, you can either walk or take a bus towards Coit Tower.

If you're already in downtown Hayward, you can explore the local area on foot. Walk towards the nearest bus stop and catch a bus that heads to the BART station.
