Getting There

Bus
From central Hayward, walk to the Hayward BART station located at 29901 BART Way. Take the BART train towards San Francisco/Daly City. Stay on the train for approximately 30 minutes. Disembark at Montgomery St. Station. From the station, exit onto Montgomery Street, then walk towards the Embarcadero. Continue walking north until you reach the intersection with Broadway. Turn left onto Broadway and walk until you reach Columbus Avenue. North Beach will be just a few blocks ahead.

Rent a bicycle from a local bike rental shop in Hayward. Start at the Hayward City Hall and head west on B Street. Follow the bike lanes until you reach the San Francisco Bay Trail. Follow the trail north along the bay towards San Francisco. After approximately 20 miles, you will reach the city. As you approach North Beach, follow the signs to Columbus Avenue, where North Beach is located.
